SAVE this for when your thoughts won’t stop spinni SAVE this for when your thoughts won’t stop spinning ⤵

1. Press your palms together firmly and breathe
2. Give yourself a 30 second hug
3. Name 5 things you can see right now
4. Squeeze and release each muscle group
5. Put your hands on your heart and breathe deeply
6. Say “thoughts aren’t facts” three times
7. Text someone you care about
8. Step outside for fresh air
9. List 3 things that went well today
10. Visualise your thoughts as clouds passing by
11. Splash cold water on your wrists
12. Write one worry and close the notebook
13. Hum or sing for 60 seconds
14. Do 10 shoulder rolls backwards
15. Shake your hands vigorously for 30 seconds
16. Say “I am safe right now” out loud
17. Breathe out longer than you breathe in
18. Cross your arms and tap alternating shoulders
19. Focus on one object and describe it in detail
20. Name 3 things you can hear right now
21. Stretch your arms above your head and clap your hands
22. Rub your hands together for 30 seconds
23. Play your favourite song and dance
24. Close your eyes and count 10 breaths
25. Wash your hands 
26. Hop from one foot to the other for 3 minutes
27. Say out loud “This will pass, I am stronger than I think”

Your racing mind isn’t your fault, our brains are wired for survival, but you CAN interrupt the cycle of overthinking. 

Pick ONE technique right now and try it. 

Even if your brain tells you it won’t work. Even if you feel too overwhelmed. Just one. Because that racing mind? It’s exhausting, and you deserve a moment of calm.
