I have been a drama teacher for the past 25 years and worked as a counsellor with the NSPCC for 7 years. As a teacher, I have taught across all age ranges, from Primary through to Secondary and I am also a Teacher-Trainer.
Throughout my time working with children and teenagers, I have had the immense privilege of being allowed to share and learn from young people themselves. I have gained some understanding of the challenges and pressures that they encounter in today’s world.
Being a teenager or young person can be incredibly challenging. The added external pressures from school, social media and day-to-day modern family life can lead to anxiety, negative thoughts and low self-esteem.
I see children and young people with a wide range of issues including bullying, phobias, confidence issues, low self-esteem, bad habits, exam stress, anxiety and depression, and sleep problems.
Hypnotherapy is a safe, simple therapy which helps people of all ages get back on top of things. I help my clients understand, change and cope with the way they deal with the daily challenges of modern life.
Hypnotherapy is a combination of Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. The Psychotherapy in itself is extremely beneficial and its effects are enhanced by the application of Hypnosis.
All appointments are completely confidential and conducted in a comfortable, safe and non-judgmental environment.
