That Friday night crash when you can barely move?

The Sunday where you sleep until midday and still feel drained?

If you have high functioning anxiety, you might be brilliant at being productive during the week, but your body keeps forcing you to crash.

Here’s what’s actually happening: Your nervous system has been running on high alert all week. Every perfectionist standard you set, every “yes” when you meant “no,” every lunch break you skipped... your body was tracking it all. 

By Friday (or the moment you finally stop), your stress bucket overflows and your body literally shuts down to protect you.

That weekend crash isn’t just tiredness. It’s your body screaming that this pattern isn’t sustainable.

The truth is, being “too busy” isn’t something to celebrate. It’s your anxiety convincing you that stopping means failing. Your constant drive to keep going is your brain’s way of trying to stay in control.

But you WILL burn out if you keep believing rest is optional.

Your brain needs downtime to function at its best. Rest isn’t the enemy of success, it’s what makes sustainable success possible.
